Computer Forensics Lab launches e-discovery.uk for FTSE 250 legal teams

London, United Kingdom · 08/09/2026

Computer Forensics Lab has launched e-discovery.uk, a dedicated electronic disclosure service for major law firms and in-house counsel at FTSE 250 companies. The site brings hosted review, forensic collection and disclosure project management together in one place.

Computer Forensics Lab, the London digital forensics and e-discovery practice, has launched a dedicated electronic disclosure website at https://e-discovery.uk. The service is aimed at major UK law firms and in-house legal teams at FTSE 250 companies that handle large disclosure exercises under the Disclosure Practice Direction.

Why a dedicated service

Corporate data now sits across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, collaboration tools, cloud storage and managed mobile devices. Collecting that material defensibly, then reducing it to a reviewable set, has become the largest single cost in contentious matters. The new service consolidates forensic collection, processing, hosted review and production into one managed workflow with a named project lead.

What the service covers

Forensically sound collection from endpoints, servers, cloud tenancies and mobile devices. Processing, de-duplication and early case assessment. Hosted review with analytics and technology assisted review. Production in the formats required by the courts and by opposing parties. Expert statements and evidence of process where custody or completeness is challenged.

Standards and governance

Work follows recognised UK practice for the handling of digital evidence, including the principles set out in the ACPO good practice guide for digital evidence and the requirements of the Disclosure Practice Direction. Computer Forensics Lab Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration ZB395023.

Availability

The service is available now to law firms and in-house teams across the United Kingdom, with secure ingest and UK based hosting. Scoping calls and fixed price estimates are offered before any collection begins.

"Disclosure is no longer a document exercise, it is a data exercise. In-house counsel are being asked to account for material spread across cloud tenancies, chat platforms and managed handsets. e-discovery.uk exists to make that defensible, proportionate and predictable in cost."
