Joseph leads a team of eight specialists and personally leads every expert witness engagement the lab takes on.

Evidence that holds up in court.
Joseph's practice covers the full evidential lifecycle: identification, forensically sound preservation and acquisition, examination, analysis and reporting that complies with CPR Part 35 in civil matters and CrimPR Part 19 in criminal matters. He gives oral evidence in the Crown Court and civil courts, and takes part in joint expert discussions and statements.
He is instructed by prosecution and defence, and by claimants and defendants, on behalf of law firms, barristers, police forces, government agencies, insurers, financial institutions and private clients. He also directs the lab's eDiscovery and disclosure service and leads the Computer Forensics Lab Research Group, which publishes guidance on admissibility and forensic practice for legal professionals.
He contributed the digital forensic analysis featured in the Discovery+ series 999 Murderer Calling.
